about his birth date: In volume 3 of Tokyo Babylon, Seishirou claimed that he was born on April 1, 1965. This was a lie, of course, since it's dangerous for an onmyouji to reveal his birthdate.

about his job: How come the Sakurazukamori is a vet? If he's really such a cruel, heartless man, how can be care for animals? This is another easy answer, though sadly a pretty bad one. Sure you want to know? Okay, I will tell you. Any onmyouji runs the risk of having their spells come back to them, so they take precautions to ensure that they won't be harmed. So Seishirou establishes his little animal practice for that reason. Any negative consequences from his spells are inflicted upon the sick and helpless animals. The strong ones survive, but the weak ones die, as is typical in an animal hospital anyway.
